Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of highs and lows. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and well-equipped, offering amenities like a coffee pot, mini refrigerator, and microwave. However, my experience was marred by ants and roaches in the room, which was especially distressing as my 3-year-old got bit by the ants, causing her trauma. Despite my multiple room changes and a challenging stay with my severely handicapped daughter, the compensation offered was only a $20 game ticket, which felt inadequate given the circumstances. The staff, while mostly helpful and pleasant, seemed disorganized and inconsistent with promises. The hotel's policy of not compensating bookings made through third parties added to my frustration, making me reluctant to consider staying at this chain again. The absence of allergen-causing chemicals in the room was a positive point amidst these challenges.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were spacious and comfy for my family of 5, but the freezing temperatures made it quite uncomfortable even when adjusting the thermostat to 80 degrees. The service was exceptional, with kind and helpful staff, especially during breakfast. The location, just 20 minutes from New Haven, was ideal for my visit to Sacred Heart University. The dining options were decent, although the turkey sausage was cold and tasteless. Overall, a good stay with a few drawbacks.
